A simple way to help alleviate puffy and swollen feet is similar to treating a sports injury. The R.I.C.E. Method. (Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation.) Apply gentle pressure on the puffy areas after icing. Then treat your tired body with a soothing Epsom salt bath. Water should be luke warm to ease your tired and aching legs. Follow with an application of cooling balm to reduce fluid retention, then elevate your legs and relax. Lie down and be sure that your legs are higher than your hips. Use a few pillows for support. Treat severe cases of swollen legs by repeating the R.I.C.E. method a few times daily.
This too shall pass! You'll get your heels on in no time.
